Data Security With Our Offsite Backup Solution
True Defense offers a secure off-site facility for storage of your computer data. At our monitored data facilities, multiple servers, firewalls and data monitoring systems are running 24x7 to ensure complete security of each client's account. Data for each client is maintained in a "virtual file cabinet" locked by an encryption code chosen by the user. Complete confidentiality is achieved by a password and an encryption key created and kept only by the owner of that account. Not even our True Defense technicians can see or access your data without your encryption information.
Email Verification Notifications
One of the key features of True Defense is that upon completion of the transfer and backup of your information, the TD Backup servers automatically send you an email confirming your backup has been successful. Attached to this email is a detailed log file that can be reviewed by the user.
Version Retention Control
A distinct feature of True Defense is that it will keep multiple copies of the same files at different points in time; these are called "versions". These "versions" enable restoration of a single file or even multiple files at different points in time. This means if you were working on a document and need to retrieve the unedited version from two days ago, you could easily point, click, select the file and restore. You now have your file as it appeared two days ago.
Our unique "Auto-File Find" feature is designed to automatically add certain files to the backup set as they are created. For example if you choose all Microsoft Word documents to be backed up; ".Doc" files, then each time you created a new Word document, our system will automatically add it to the backup set. Our TD Backup software constantly reevaluates your computer system, adding chosen files to the backup job, so you never forget to add a file to your backups!
