Simple trick to access your remote computer
In Windows XP Professional inbuilt software called Remote Desktop that is used to access your remote computer through the internet network or your private network (LAN and VPN).
You were sitting at anywhere in the world, example if you working at home and you want to access your office computer, so you could use any programs and access to any files you want.
Ok, Let start Now.
Setting my Office computer : What will I do to my Office computer ?
- Log on as the administrator
- Right click on My Computer icon and then select Properties menu.
- Click the Remote tab.
- Select the Allow users to connect remotely to this computer in the check box like the picture below and then click OK.
- Go to the Control Panel
- open the Network Connections
- double click on Local Area Connection you will get this computer’s LAN IP Address.
To access my office computer :
- Go to Remote Desktop Connection .
- Now put LAN IP Address of my office computer
- then click Connect button.
- Type username and password of my office computer.
- finish and enjoy!!!
